Atuh Beach is a beach located in the eastern part of Nusa Penida Island, this beach offers beautiful views where around the coast is surrounded by high cliffs, and the descent to the beach takes about 30 minutes, but the view is worth the effort, especially if you’re a beach lover. Visit Pantai Atuh Beach at low tide to see rock pools with exotic marine life. Swimming isn’t advisable due to strong currents and lack of lifeguards on the beach. Not far from the beach, there is a temple called Pura Atuh. This temple is often visited by Hindus communities around Pejukutan and Tanglad villages, especially during the ceremony. Where the meaning of the word Atuh is derived from the word "A" meaning 'no' and 'Tuh' which means 'dry', so it can be assumed that the word "Atuh" means 'never dry'.
